Very recently, at LA’s Screamfest, a group of students from VFS - including three from the EBM program won ‘Best Short”, beating out a long list of producers, directors and creative teams. This is the trailer for their winning short film, “The Little Mermaid”.
I am beyond thrilled for them, and although I only had the three producing students for one class and one semester, I’m really proud of them because these three ladies are dedicated, professional, enthusiastic and sharp as knives. This is a huge win and honor and I know they are all off to very bright careers. Read a little more about the short film’s success, which comes from VFS’s Compendium project.
