A short video at Wondercon by Wu-E Entertainment, who came by to ask all about Tanpopo, Sky Pirates and Camilla’s art. I will get used to being on camera, one day, I swear! For now, it still unsettles me a little.

Wondercon in Anaheim this year, instead of San Francisco, is proving to be interesting in many levels, not least of which the mix of events going on at the convention center, of which Wondercon, a high school girls volleyball tournament and now a cheerleading competition.  Throw in St. Patrick’s Day, Disneyland and you’ll understand why this feels like the Twilight Zone. Even the weather is turned upside down!

Wonder Women! The Untold Story of American Superheroines, made it’s premiere at the SXSW Film Festival last week to great acclaim.  It was one of 7 films that got ‘extra screenings’, as voted by people who saw the films during the festival.  The special extra screening was last night (March 14).  I tried to go to one of the screenings, but got there too late and the waiting list was huge! All screenings, apparently, were sold out.

I’m really happy the film got so much acclaim, and as I get ready for Wondercon here in Anaheim today, and with the work I’m now doing with women in film (and of course MY original comic super heroine, Camilla), this seemed like a nice, fitting story to share.
